SUMMARY:Barbara Whitwam Memorial Dinner for the Soup Kitchen
DESCRIPTION:We invite our community and generous supporters to join us for a special evening to honor Barbara Whitwam and her many wonderful years of service to The Soup Kitchen. \nThe benefit dinner will be held Sunday May 5\, 2019 at the Bistro on The Boulevard Restaurant to benefit the Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen and its many guests. Seating times are 4PM to 7PM. This event is invite only due to limited space. If you have not received your invitation\, please call the office — 925-8204. \nThere is a new procedure for making reservations this year.  After you mail your menu card and check in the return envelope\, the Bistro will call you to schedule your seating time. Check the back of the menu card\, and be sure to include your telephone number. \nThe donation is $80 per person. All proceeds go to The Soup Kitchen. The price of dinner includes appetizer\, salad\, entree\, dessert\, beer\, wine and gratuity. Thank you to The Bistro on the Boulevard owners\, staff\, and the entire Whitwam family for hosting this annual event. We are grateful for your friendship and support. \nSince 1980\, The Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen\, an independent non-profit corporation\, has served a large\, healthy noon-time meal every day of the year. Over 48\,000 meals were served last year. The Soup Kitchen also provides a safe\, sheltered\, gathering place during the hours of its service\, while also helping guests meet other vital needs through coordinating with area social agencies.
